Prof Dr Ezher DayısoyluProf Dr Korkud Demirel
Professor Demirel graduated from Tarsus American School in 1980, and from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry, in 1985. He worked as a visiting lecturer at New York University, Stony Brook School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology in 1989 and 1990.
He attained his PhD in 1992 and became Professor in 2002. He was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the Ukrainian Academy of Postgraduate Education in 2018.
His professional areas of interest include esthetic periodontal treatment, dental implants, bone regeneration, and smoking and gingival diseases. He is former President of the Turkish Society of Periodontology, and former President of the European Federation of Periodontology.

Dr Becen Demir
Dr Becen Demir was born in 1976. He was graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 1999.
In 2005, he was graduated from Periodontology Doctorate programme of the same university and worked as assistant professor at Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry. Since then he has been working in the fields of Periodontology and Implantology, lecturing and giving courses on fresh cadavers.
Dr Demir’s professional interests are soft tissue management in the aesthetic zone, bone reconstruction and PRF.
Dr Demir is a member of Turkish Society of Periodontology.

After a short theoretical introduction of the surgical procedure by the lecturer, you can monitor the live surgery on the flat screen close to you. You accompany each detail in “real time”, simulating a close 1:1 reality on your “patient”.
After the teaching and the instruction, you will perform the surgical training on the fresh skull, guided by us, step by step. Two doctors are assigned to one fresh (not embalmed) skull, a well-trained team is always around you to help and assist.
There will always be a focus on pitfalls and danger zones for each surgical procedure. There is absolutely no need to be intimidated or concerned with your anatomy and surgery knowledge as you are guided through the entire process.
80-90% of the course time is hands-on training after an in-depth explanation.
